Much like a persons DNA, or more specifically their God made thumb print, we believe each church has individual identity marks. We feel these four traits listed below reveal our identity:
1. An Established Church with an Exciting Vision
We have been in the Lawrenceville community for almost 109 years. We never want to forget about our heritage but we believe that the best days are still ahead. We see and believe that what God has done in recent years is just the beginning of the great things that the Lord is going to do at our Church
2. Serving all Generations
We are a church that is devoted to reaching all generations with the amazing good news of Jesus. We do this through our ministries, methods, and music. We have a blended style of music that ranges from hymns to current Christian songs of worship that God is using today. We also have a Sr. Adult ministry as well as thriving groups and classes for all ages to be impacted.
3. Diverse in Members
We are a diverse group in race and ethnicity. We believe that Heaven’s example shows us a group of every tribe, every tongue, every nation that will assemble together for one purpose, Gods glory. We are thankful to have a Hispanic ministry that serves with Pleasant Grove each week.
4. We are Second
Many church members still wear bracelets from a promotion our church did a couple of years ago called I Am Second. The concept still continues today as we are of the belief that it is not about me. This shows through the guest parking and parking lot attendants, the friendly greeters, the nursery volunteers, and the many other servants that show up each week all over our campus dedicated to serving others. The overall spirit of our Church says Its about Jesus, its about others, and its not about me.
